He was predeceased by: his parents, Lanneau M. Sawyer and Mary Elizabeth Herring Sawyer; and his brother Kenneth Sawyer. He is survived by: his wife Eveleigh Tindal Sawyer; his daughters, Lori Wagers (GT) of Little River and Tanya Russ (Billy) of Mullins; his siblings, Franklin Sawyer of Lake View, Ruby Newell of Fork, Irene Fink of Mullins and Janet Nicholson (Horace) of Mullins; his grandchildren, Sierra, Shane, Maddison, Claire and Michael; and his great grandchild Emerson Ryder Russ.
