He was predeceased by: his son Rodney; his parents, Edward Rogers and Mary Wiggins Rogers; and his brothers, Ed Rogers, Gentry Rogers, Paul Rogers and Bobby Moody.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Rogers; his children, Ray and Janet; his sisters, Dot Beniker, Marian Carter, Patricia Dimery and Betty Sue Moody; and his great grandchild Piper Jo Jenerette.
