He was predeceased by: his son Joe (Martha Ceasar Burgess); his former wife Bessie Mae White Duncan; and his spouse Veola Crawford Duncan. He is survived by: his children, Joann White, Jimmy Lee White, Joseph "Bo" White (Barbara), Danny Duncan (Karen) and Martha Duncan; his niece Betty Woodbury (Leon); his nephew Phillip Burgess (Ida); his siblings, Margie Nell Duncan-Gerald and Jimmie Duncan Rodgers; his nieces and nephews, Robert Burgess (Naomi), Evant Burgess (Mary), Lee Duncan (Louise), Bobbie Ann Braddy (Curtis) and Eva Mae Wheeler (Geroge); and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Legette and Gladys Gail Godfrey. He is also survived by great-grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
