It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Claire Sellers of Mullins, South Carolina, born in Marion, South Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Starr C. Shelley and Emily Braswell Shelley; her daughter Susan Sellers Medlin; and her siblings, Marcia Johnson and Raymond Shelley.
She is survived by: her significant other Wallace D. Sellers, III; her son Duncan Sellers (Penny) of Latta; her son-in-law Michael Medlin of Latta; her sister-in-law Pat Causey (Carlis) of Dillon; her granddaughters, Kristin Brown (Dylan) and Kayla Morrill (Kody); her close friend Tyrone Ford; and her pet Tipper. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Claire loved all animals, and in keeping with this love, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the local animal shelter.
