He was predeceased by: his mother Geneva Lacy; and his siblings, James Lacy, Willie Mack Lacy, Nathan Lacy and Bessie Timmons.
He is survived by: his wife Glenora Lacy; and his children, Iris Bridges, Kimberly Nichols, Naketa Lacy, Lavore Byrd, Deon Whittaker, Darryl Clark and Charles Carmichael Lacy, II. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
