It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calvin Legette Sr. (Mullins, South Carolina), who passed away on July 4, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Legette and Lonnie Legette, Jr.; his grandparents, Nettie Mae and Henry Spry Sr. Calvin; his brothers, Anthony (Anita) and Donald "Duck"; his daughter Kimberly Eaddy; his aunts and uncles, JoAnn Spry, Rosa McDuffie (Walter), Barbara A. Williams, Delores Edwards (AL), Linda Williams, Gene Spry (Darlene), Jerome Spry and Henry Spry Jr. (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, Mae F. Page, Patricia Godbolt (Kennis), CasSandra Ross, Eva Braddy (Leroy), George Wheeler (Eva) and Joseph Wheeler (Betty).

He is survived by: his siblings, Terry (late Joyce), Portual Norman (Carol), Brenda Taylor (Ronel), Wanda Davis and Marvin Pee; his wife Joyce Eaddy-Legette; and his children, Frederick Gause (Ronile), Anthony Gause, Calvin Legette, Jr., Maurice Eaddy, Tyrese Eaddy, Desmond Eaddy, Thanayi Eaddy and Samara Eaddy.
