He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jr. Turner and Re'na Turner; and his pets, Corine Bethea (James) and Samuel (Edna Wells). He is survived by: his daughters, Cadedra Moody and Ja'Niya McBride; his close friend Shelia Moody; his siblings, James McBride (Jessica Ann), Gladell Turner (Detra), Rev. John Willie Turner, Laruth Ward (Johnny) and Joan Santez; and his nieces and nephews, Rashida Bethea, Billy Collins, Greg Turner and James McBride Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Eloise Troy Chapel (247 NE Front St, Mullins, SC 29574). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
