It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Coleman Byrd (Mountville, South Carolina), who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Mr Jurell Byrd, Jr.; her children, Jurell Byrd, III (Boiling Springs), Julian Byrd of Washington, DC and Lacresha Byrd of Fountain Inn, SC; her grandchildren, Timothy Byrd of Cross Hill, SC, Travis Robertson of Laurens, SC and Myasia Byrd of Clinton, SC; and her siblings, Eugene Coleman, Charles Coleman (Johnnie Mae) of Laurens, SC, Fred Coleman, Willie C Coleman (Gwendolyn) of Hyattsville, MD, Elma Morrison (Wilbert) and Marian Miller of Laurens. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Public graveside services will begin at 2pm at the White Plains Baptist Church in Mountville, S. C. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family is not accepting visitors at this time, but appreciates and thanks all for their prayers and concerns.
