Coates (Terri) of Waterloo; his stepchildren, Eddie Armstrong (Betty) of Gilbert and Tony Armstrong (Edna) of Kingwood, TX; his sister Betty Chapman (Bruce) of Easley; his wives, Rose Godfrey Coates and Helen Armstrong Coates; his grandson Jarrod Shaver; his siblings, Gerald Coates, Bob Coates and Doris Loun; and his stepson Gerry Armstrong.
