Levern Backman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Levern Backman of Mountain Rest, South Carolina, born in Gaston, South Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Backman and Linnie Sharpe Backman. He is survived by: his daughter Deanna Lucas (Randy); his grandchild Bailee Lucas Croft (Kyle); his son Stacy Backman; his great grandchildren, Michalia Backman, Tessa Backman and Wesley Croft; his stepchildren, Jessie McAlister and Jeffrey LeCroy; and his sisters, Patricia Robertson, Era Mullins and Betty Walling. He is also survived by many loving friends and family.
