She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Paul Langston of Mountain Rest, SC; her parents, Rufus Ellison Ellenburg and Sadie Nora Stewart Ellenburg; and her siblings, Grover Ellenburg, David, Alice Atkins, Lila Faye Ellenburg, Eva Lee Howard, Lilie Mae Galloway, Christine Sargeant and Carolyn Isom.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. James "Arnold" Langston (Julia), Wayne P. Langston, Tommy J. Langston, Bobby J. Langston, Mary L. Miller (Jimmy) and Sarah L. Sellew (Chip). She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davenport Funeral Home (311 SC-11, West Union, SC 29696). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at the Oconee Memorial Park (1923 Blue Ridge Blvd, Seneca, SC 29672).
