It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Catherine Allinder (Mountain Rest, South Carolina), who passed away on November 15, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theo Lee Guerry and Eloise Ruth Fralick; and her siblings, Nina Ann Espenship, Theodore Legrand Guerry and James Harrison Guerry.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Enoch Allinder; her daughters, Cheryl Collins, Deborah Laliberte (Gerald), Freda Keen (Scooter) and Jessica Owens; her grandchildren, Joseph Erickson, Randal Khune, Brandon Howey and Cerese Laliberte; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Lorali, Aurora, Logan, Branson, Henry, Colton and Elliot; and her siblings, Lora E. Smith, William L. Guerry (Diane) and David F. Guerry (Barbara).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Double Springs United Methodist Church (389 Chattooga Ridge Rd, Mountain Rest, SC 29664).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oconee County Habitat for Humanity.Barbara's legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
