She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brown Dixon, Jr. and Elizabeth Grayson Dixon; and her husbands, Dr. James Graydon Dukes and Dr. Hugh H. McGarity. She is survived by: her children, Wilma Catherine Dukes Broom (Joseph) of North Charleston, SC, Joanne Dukes Campbell Harth (Steve) of Charleston, SC and James Graydon Dukes, Jr. (Patti) of Charleston, SC.. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (501 Elmwood Ave, Columbia, SC 29201).
