He was predeceased by: his father Ivan Sloggett (Ruth Morrissey); and his stepmother Leona Sloggett of Bay City, MI.. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ellen Sloggett (Barchak); his children, Todd Sloggett of Sanford, MI and MaryEllen Urig of Awendaw, SC; and his sisters, Janet Schnell of Bay City, MI, Susan Hodder of Grayling, MI and Grace Stiegemeyer of Kalamazoo, MI. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 11 nieces and nephews.
