He is survived by: his children, Julie Bartlett (Dale), Roy Fischer III (Brenda), Robbie Fischer (Helen) and Mary Gearhart (Kip); his grandchildren, Carlin Bartlett, Brian Bartlett (Mary Beth), Frances Wiedmer (Tyler), Roy Fischer IIII, Robert Fischer (Meg), Kate Fischer, Craig Gearhart (Grace), Leanne Gearhart and Madison Koeman (Matthew); his great grandchildren, James, Eli Bartlett, Maverick, Connor Wiedmer and Ande Fischer; his stepgrandchildren, Virginia Hildreth (Jesse) and Duncan Pfaehler (Barb); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Cecily and Roberta Hildreth.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (604 Pitt St, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery (604 Pitt St, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association to support the wonderful staff of Mt. Pleasant Gardens and their efforts to fundraise for the "Walk to End Alzheimer's" http://act.alz.org.
