It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Henry McDow in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, born in Clanton, Alabama, who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas McDow and Mildred Elizabeth Tipsword McDow. He is survived by: his wife Beverly McDow; his daughter Lisa Elizondo (Robert); his grandchildren, Henry, Tommy and Zeke Elizondo; his siblings, Jim McDow and Patti Evans (Tim); his sister-in-law Judy Knight (Jim); and his daughter Kelly Elizabeth McDow.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (12 21st Ave, Isle of Palms, SC 29451). Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bolton Funeral Home (207 1st Street North, Alabaster, AL 35007). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
