Orquida Gail Hurd Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orquida Gail Hurd of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, who passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert L Hodge and Nina Williams Hodge; and her siblings, Cloteile Belvel, Leona Hall, Doris Miller, Emerson Hodge and Richard Hodge.
She is survived by: her siblings, Glenn Hodge (Sandy) of Harrisburg, VA and Sylvia Rosenshine of Waynesboro, VA; and her stepchildren, Kim Silberstein (Ted) of Daytona, FL, Lance Hurd (Misty) of Charleston, SC and Billy Hurd (Stacey) of Saint Petersburg, FL.. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the McAllister-Smith Funeral (1520 Rifle Range Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464).
