Michael Howard Obituary

We bid farewell to Michael Howard of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 27, 2025 at the age of 68. Michael touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Howard and Kathleen Elizabeth Howard. He is survived by: his wife Helen Ann Howard; his children, Michael John Howard (Carly), Mary Catherine Howard (Mollie), Helen Kathleen Tonche (Torey) and Emma Geraldine Howard; his siblings, John Howard (Pam), Maura Curtis (Michael), Kathleen Hubler (Wesley), Peter Howard (Christine), Megan Hannum (Leigh), Paul Howard (Laurie), James Howard (Robin) and Sara Rankin (Alex); and his grandchildren, Huck Bennett Howard, Jack Oliver Howard and Mateo Torey Tonche. He is also survived by 30 nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (1520 Rifle Range Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church (95 Hasell St, Charleston, SC 29401).
