Karen L. Gaskins Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen L. Gaskins of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, born in Abilene, Kansas, who passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Karen's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Karen's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldred Glen Herchenroeder and Pearl Lavina Brewer Herchenroeder; her husband Charles Gaskins of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her brother Robert Herchenroeder; and her granddaughter Heather Mae Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Gesling and Pamela Ponte. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Charleston Rifle Club (2221 Heriot St, Charleston, SC 29403). Please RSVP with her daughter Pam Ponte.
Memorials may be made in her name to East Cooper Community Outreach (ECCO).
