He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy S. Mangum and Alvin J. Mangum (Bill); his wife Julia H. Sanders of Barnwell, SC; and his sister Patricia Jones (Steve) of Atlanta, GA.. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra S. Garland (Steve) of Gatlinburg, TN, Jerianne S. Peele (Jody) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Janet Patricia S. Biggerstaff (Dan) of McClellanville, SC; his stepson Brad Byrum (MeChelle) of Lexington, SC; and his grandchildren, Michael White (Jenny) of Gilbert, AZ, Megan Miner, Allison Loew (Chris) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Nicole Riner (Neil) of New Market, TN, Sam of McClellanville, SC, Jerry Patrick Biggerstaff of McClellanville, SC, Bailey Byrum of Montreat, NC, Kaitlyn B. Spearin (Trey) of Greenwood, SC and Holden Byrum of Lexington, SC. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
