It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgie Madeleine Keller Shuler (Mount Pleasant, South Carolina), who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellie Louis Keller and Georgie Merle Green Keller; and her husband Karl A. Shuler. She is survived by: her brother Milton; her children, Baron Shuler (Glenda) of Marietta, Georgia, Cheryl, Michael Shuler (Suzanne) of Mt. Pleasant and Kenneth Shuler of Charleston; her grandchildren, Jessica Shearer (Steve), Zachary Shuler (Tyler), Brent Bowie (Maria), Ryan Bowie (Meghan), Michael Shuler, Jr. (Kathleen), Anne Marie Toole (Scott), Kenneth, Kristy Holdgate (Nick) and James Shuler (Heather); her great grandchildren, Grady Shuler, Paige Shuler, Grant Shuler, Tessa Shuler, Ella Shearer, Ethan Shearer, Spencer Bowie, Alex Bowie, Emily Jackson (Cliff), Karaline Bowie, Burke Bowie, Eila Bowie, Kathleen Marie Toole, William Toole, Camden Shuler, Abigail Holdgate and William Holdgate; and her brother Joe Keller (Marie) of Mt. Pleasant. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel (1494 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Live Oak Cemetery (3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414).
