She was predeceased by: her mother Bernice Wilson Nations; her son Micheal J. Fortner (Charleston); and her sister Patricia N. Danahey (North Charleston). She is survived by: her husband Ray Fortner; her daughter June Fortner-Cane (Greg); her granddaughter Ashleanne Beaudoin (Paul) of Conway; and her great grandchild Harper Michael Beaudoin.
