He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Klein Ankersen and Benjamin Franklin Ankersen, Sr.; his brother Benjamin Ankersen, Jr.; his nephew Keith Stewart; and his niece Beth Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne; his sons, Kelly, Kyle and Karl; his granddaughter Grace Lyn Ankersen; and his siblings, Ruth Wilson, David Ankersen, Teresa Ankersen, Teresa Ankersen and Rebecca Long (Donald). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
