He was predeceased by: his parents, David Luther Shuler and Ruby Griffin Shuler; and his wife Patricia Reed Shuler. He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Reed Shuler (Larky) of Summerville, SC and Phillip David Shuler of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Phillip Walton Shuler (Rikki) of Dorchester, SC., Hailey Gilbert (Brendan) of Summerville and Emily Shuler (Blake Eidson) of Huger, SC; and his great grandchildren, Eloise and Georgia.
