She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Elizabeth Orpin and Coit Sparrow Howe. She is survived by: her child Leigh (Michael Cladakis); her grandson Nicholas (Nick) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her son Hugh Bethune, Jr. (Allison Cagle); her grandchild Annice Beatrice (Annie) of Mt. Pleasant, SC.; and her sisters, Phyllis H. Hallman and Sylvia H. Grissom. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church (302 Hibben St, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464).
