He is survived by: his wife Jean Wellmon of Mount Pleasant; his daughters, Michelle Wellmon Waterbury (Reed) of Mount Pleasant and Melissa Wellmon Herring (Jason) of Mount Pleasant; his grandchildren, Charles Coste, Ian Coste, Hyatt Herring and Henry Herring; and his nieces, Nora Draper of Shelby, NC. and Marilyn Hoyle of Shelby, NC..
