With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ann Josephine Whalen of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sally Flynn and Arnold VanThullenar; her former husband Dean Whalen; her husband John Navarre; and her brother Ted VanThullenar.
She is survived by: her children, Meghan Campbell (Ben) of Summerville, Jeffrey Whalen (Victoria) of Mt. Pleasant, Kevin Whalen (Terri) of Johns Island and Sally Caldwell (Ryan) of Isle; her sisters, Gretchen Rossi and Kristine Rogers; her grandchildren, Aidan Campbell, Davis Caldwell, Ethan Caldwell, Zander Caldwell, Amanda Whalen, Sarah Whalen, Dalton Antley, Jack Antley and Luke Antley; and her great grandchildren, Hudson Gillette and Sawyer Antley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Benedict Catholic Church (950 Darrell Creek Trail, Mt Pleasant, SC 29466). A Mass will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
