He was predeceased by: his parents, William Math and Millie Demby Steen; his wife Julie F. Steen; and his brothers, Sam, Olin and John Steen.
He is survived by: his daughter Tricia Ulch (Scott) of Prosperity, SC; his grandsons, Tyler and Caleb Ulch; and his brother Floyd Steen (Eula) of Mt. Croghan, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
