He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Antonio Paredes and Ester Encina; his wife Arsenia Martínez Paredes; and his siblings, Alicia and Manuel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Katia Ester Paredes and Xochitl Angela Paredes Colarusso; his son-in-law Joey; his granddaughter Lila; and his siblings, Marcelina and Ricardo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
