He is survived by: his spouse Emma Turner Bishop; his children, Melissa Bishop O'Quinn (John) of Williams, Kathy Bishop Heath (Tom) of Aiken and James Lamar Bishop (Hope) of Nixville; and his sisters, Catherine Valentine of Islandton and Mary Phillips of Beaufort.
