He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Tanner and Julia Taylor Tanner; and his siblings, Sidney Tanner and Mildred Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kathryn Samples Tanner; his children, William Edward Tanner (April) of Inman, Margaret Elizabeth Tanner (Billy McClain) of Pauline and Mark Allen Tanner of Lyman; his sisters, Corrine Jean Richardson (Harold) and Joylynn Browning (Billy); and his grandchildren, Kathryn, Matthew, Nina, Ava, Chase, Lance and Brandt. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
