He is survived by: his parent Helen Kafitz; his children, Sandra Kafitz Humphrey and Alan Kafitz; his siblings, David Kafitz (Paula) and Carole Purdy; his son-in-law Michael Humphrey; his siblings-in-law, Estelena Allen (Phillip) and Howard Robinson; his grandchildren, Sara Burnett (John) and Jennifer Humphrey; and his great grandchild Lilly Burnett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
