She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Collins (Garrett) and Clyde A. Lane; her husband Bobby Goforth; her daughter Della Sue Hawkins; and her sister Diane Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Ginger A. Godfrey (Joe), Robin Hawkins (Cierra) and Eddie Sparks; her grandchildren, Chris, Matthew, Jennifer, Tiffany, Ashley and Brandon; and her siblings, Chris Lane and Carolyn Bradley. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
The family will hold a private service at a later date and requests donations to Spartanburg Humane Society 150 Dexter Rd. Spartanburg, SC 29303.
