He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Williams and Grover Phillips. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Morgan (Tony) of Moore, SC and Teresa Dempsey (Johnny) of Woodruff, SC; his grandchildren, Kendra Snow Petty, Jonathan Blaine Dempsey and Robert Lee Dempsey; his great grandchild Kinley Elise Petty; his siblings, Joyce Oliver of Woodruff, SC and Charles Williams of Woodruff, SC; and his close friend Shirley Lay of Spartanburg, SC..
