He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Turner and Eula Mae Crow Turner; his wife Tressie Irene Turner; and his siblings, Naomi Williams, Viola Turner, Ruth T. McAllister, Mary Ellen Bush, Cynthia T. Bedard and Edward Turner.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Dennis Turner, Jr. and Delette T. Smith; and his grandchildren, Michael Waddel, Kristie Leah Garrett and Ashlie Turner.
