He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Carroll and Rebecca L. Carroll. He is survived by: his children, Robert A. Carroll, Jr. and Kathryn E. Carroll "Elise"; his siblings, Dottie Dempsey (Tom) of Roebuck and John Carroll (Julie) of Woodruff; and his grandchildren, Harley Michelle Carroll "Harley" and Robert A. Carroll III.
