He is survived by: his parents, Frank Thomas Clayton and Diane Gates Clayton; his wife Caroline Warren Clayton of Moore, SC; his son Whitt Russell Clayton; his siblings, Kelly Elaine Clayton of Irmo and Patrick Thomas Clayton (Natalie) of Inman, SC.; his grandmother Valerie Clayton of Jacksonville, FL; and his nieces and nephews, Blakely, Molly, Nathan, Harrison and Logan. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a college fund for his son Whitt.
