He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Parris Smith; his parents, Robert Guy Smith and Mildred Stacy Smith McCoy; his son Larry Smith; his granddaughter Christy Smith; and his sister Lib Marianos.
He is survived by: his children, Gregg Smith (Melody) of Woodstock, GA, Patty Doyle (Scott) of LaQuinta, CA and Stacey Richardson (David) of Moore, SC; his grandchildren, Quinton Smith, Carrie Smith, Lindsay Nelson (Jay), Katy Vecere, Zach Smith, Lauren Patterson, Ally Doyle, Maribeth Zamora (Jeremy) and Alec Richardson; and his great grandchildren, Benny, Konnar, Nova, Avery, Zayne and Zoey.
