She is survived by: her parent Carrie Mae Bright Emery; and her children, Patricia Lail (Howard) of Shelby, NC, Tammy Teague of Greenville, SC, Charles Curtis of Chesnee, SC, Roger Curtis of Moore, SC and Edward "Shorty" Curtis (Reon) of Moore, SC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
