It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lamar DeWitt Gaston Jr. (Moore, South Carolina), born in Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robert Gaston and Gloria Gaston Van Cara. He is survived by: his wife Abbie Agatha Shytles Gaston; his daughter Laura Benita Gaston of Atlanta, Georgia; and his grandson Noah Maier Evans.

The family will greet friends after the graveside service Monday, keeping in mind social distancing guidelines.
