She was predeceased by: her parents, Iva Green Morris and Vance Morris; her spouse Jesse Dean Simmons, Jr.; and her brother Jesse Frank Morris of Campobello, SC.. She is survived by: her children, Wally Gregory of Fripp Island, SC, Brenda Simmons Beason (John) of Crouse, NC and Jesse Dean Simmons, III of Boiling Springs, SC; her grandchildren, Julia Ann, Tripp Gregory of Fripp Island, SC, Melissa Beason Vacek (Greg) of Concord, NC, Allison Beason Harris (Kevin) of Harrisburg, NC, Aaron Beason of Washington, D. C. and Adam Beason (Mandy) of Dallas, TX; and her great grandchildren, Grier, Brendan, Marett Vacek, Aydenn and Owen Harris. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
