He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carolyn Owens Wright; his children, Kathy Mitchell of Spartanburg, Jesse Eugene "Gene" Wright (Debbie) of Spartanburg and Jason Todd Wright (Peggy) of Spartanburg; and his grandchildren, Melissa Lawrimore, Travis Mitchell (Amelia), Brandon Mitchell (Jessica), Kyle Wright and Taylor Wright (Kasey). He was also cherished by 8 great-grandchildren.
