With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Forest Patton (Moore, South Carolina), born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on June 29, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladstone Patton and Caroline Patton. He is survived by: his wife Lola H. Patton; his children, Holly Rittenhouse (John) of Oakland, CA, Cary Swan of Palm Beach, FL, Daniel Patton (Jackie) of Toledo, OH and Thomas Patton of Summerville, SC; and his brother John Patton. He is also survived by three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Building Fund at Reidville Road United Methodist Church, 5575 Reidville Road, Moore, SC 29369.
