She was predeceased by: her husband Edward William Smith; her parents, Henry Hampton and Martha Jones Wade; and her siblings, Mary Smith, Loler, Charles, Lewis, Thad, Robert and Ross Wade.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Pruett (Jim) of Spartanburg and Elaine Catto (Mike) of Moore; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Pruett, Jason Catto, Justin Catto and Jaime Steading. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
