He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Ferguson and Mamie Pearl Raper; and his stepfather James Raper. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Hott Ferguson; his children, Daniel Ferguson (Becca), David Ferguson (Tate), Heather Matthews, Will Ferguson (Sarah), Michael Cuthbert (Tiffany) and Ember Conway; his grandchildren, Judah Ferguson, Israel Ferguson, Landynn Cuthbert, Maiya Ferguson and Ryan Ferguson; and his siblings, Sidney Strong (Shannon), Frank Strong and Frances Defendorf (Darryl). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and military brothers.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Riverhills Baptist Church (5762 Reidville Rd, Moore, SC 29369). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
