He was predeceased by: his parents, Marchie Burnett and Pauline Raines Burnett; his wife Lorine Thrift Burnett; his son Jeffery Lee Burnett; and his daughter-in-law Patsy Featherston.
He is survived by: his son Fred W. Burnett Jr. of Arcadia, SC; his nieces, Barbara Gipson (Dale) of Chesnee, SC and Debbie Horne (Ronald) of Spartanburg, SC; his great-nephews, William S. Biggerstaff (Beth) and Daniel B. Gipson (Chanda); his great-niece Monica Horne; and also Toby Gipson.
