She is survived by: her sons, John "Mark" Tate (Diane) of Spartanburg and David "Glen" Tate (Jeanna) of Roebuck; her grandchildren, Andrew Gordon Tate, Olivia Michelle Tate, John David Tate and William Christopher Tate; and her sister Pamela "Pammy" Painter Tipton (Gary) of Boiling Springs.
