It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Alton Brown (Moore, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on May 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Brown and Sarah Kirby Brown; his stepmother Alma Cox Brown of Moore; and his brother Walter Jess Brown (Alpha) of Greenville, S. C.. He is survived by: his sister Judith Ann Brown Justice (James) of Moore, S. C.; his nephews, Marcus Brown (Gail), Jan Justice (Jayma) and Joey Justice (Robin); and his niece Melinda Long (Thom). He is also survived by 11 great nieces and nephews and 6 great, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Clinton First Baptist Church or the Clinton Fire Department.
