With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Stephen Melton (Moore, South Carolina), born in Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on May 3, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W Melton and Margie M Melton; his son Geoff Melton; and his brother Roger Smith. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cowen Melton; and his children, David Melton Jr., Crystal Booth (Kris) of Boiling Springs, SC, Scott Melton (Natalie) of Bixby, OK, Ashley Maul (Andreas) of Moore, SC and Mandy Mathis (Corey) of Duncan, SC. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Nazareth Presbyterian Church, 680 Nazareth Church Rd., Moore SC 29369.
