He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rev. Henry Hayden and Betty-Jane Hayden; his wife Robin Hayden; his daughter Lisa Hanson of Priest River, Idaho; his stepdaughter Cindy Holtzman of Millville, Delaware; and his siblings, Deirdre Hayden Clausen of Beaverton and Jeremy Hayden of North Royalton, Ohio. He was also cherished by six nieces and nephews and three cousins.
